My name is Larry Palumbo. I am a sports photographer based out of Syracuse, New York but I also service the New York City/Long Island region. My specialty is lacrosse photography.
Whether I am using an extreme telephoto or a wide angle, I fill the frame with the height of sports action. The captured images that result are truly amazing. I follow the games closely that I cover, much as a scout does, so I can anticipate an athletes next move. My images drip with emotion because I seek to capture the emotional outbursts that athletes often exhibit during the course of play. I am an expert at telling the story of a game with images.
Currently, I am a game photographer with the National Lacrosse League (
http://www.nll.com) and a photo contributor at Inside Lacrosse Magazine and IL Indoor (
http://www.insidelacrosse.com +
http://www.ilindoor.com). My current client list also includes the Rochester Knighthawks Professional Lacrosse Team, United States Indoor Lacrosse and Israel Lacrosse. In my career, I have covered the NLL's Champions Cup games in Buffalo in 2008, Calgary in 2009, Toronto in 2011 and Rochester in 2012, as well as their All Star Game at Turning Stone Casino in 2011. I have also covered the 2009, 2011 and 2012 MLL (Major League Lacrosse) Championship, the 2010 & 2012 Mann Cup (Canada's Professional Indoor Lacrosse Championship), the 2012 NCAA College Championships and the 2012 New York State High School Championships. Internationally I have covered the FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championships in Prague, Czech Republic in 2011 for the United States and the 2012 European Lacrosse Championships in Amsterdam, Holland for Israel.
